Student Dress Code, UUM
All students must follow Student Dress Code at University Utara Malaysia (UUM).
UUM Dress Code about activities as follows:
Sports Activities Sports Attire
Recreational Activities Long Sleeved T-Shirt and Track Bottoms or Slacks
Co-curicular Activities Co-curicular uniform or white collared and sleeved T-shirt (no wordings) and black track-bottoms with white sport shoes
Exceptions of UUM Dress Code as follows:
Library Shirts without ties or collared T-Shirts after office hours are allowed
Student Residential Hall (DPP) Zone Collared and sleeved T-Shirt and slacks are allowed
University Health Centre (PKU) Collared T-Shirt and slacks are allowed for men (after office hours)
Hair - UUM Dress Code as follows:
Men Hair length should not touch the collar
Women Hair must be neat and tidy for students not wearing scarves
Reminder:
All students are to adhere to the Student Dress Code when dealing with University matters or staff. Disciplinary action under University Utara Malaysia (Displine of Students) Rules 1999 will be taken against students who do not follow these guidelines.
